LCR Music Board Consultation Event

Liverpool City Region Music Board

Limf2016 Sunday 5714 Pete Carr

The Liverpool City Region Music Board would like to invite you to attend an information sharing and sector consultation session on 14th May at Hinterlands in the Baltic Triangle.

The LCR Music Board was established at the end of 2018 with the principle aim to sustain, support and develop the music sector in our region and tocement the city region’s position as one of the world’s music capitals. Over the last few months Board members and others from within the Music sector have been developing some more detailed work on key priorities identified from recent strategic reports including:

  • Safeguarding and protecting Music Venues
  • Growing current and future Music Heritage and Tourism offer (including Beatles’ legacy)
  • Increasing access to Music Education & Talent Development
  • Music Strategy development

The purpose of the event is for Board members to lead a discussion on this work with the wider sector and to listen to the views of the city region’s music community which will inform the next steps and work plan going forward.

These sessions are intended to be open and collaborative and be designed to ensure that everyone has a chance to have their say.

We will run two x 3 hr sessions to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend:

Session 1 – 13:00 – 16:00 pm

Session 2 - 18:00 – 21:00 pm

NB: You only need to attend one of the above sessions.

The format will include:

  • Feedback from Board members on each of the priority areas
  • Roundtable discussions (opportunity for detailed discussion of 3 out of the 4 priority areas)
  • Panel Q & A
  • Next Steps

Refreshments will be available.

Places are free but limited for each session so don't delay in registering!
